Established 2013, we are a quaint alteration shop with plenty of seamstresses and tailors to give you quality service with a personalized touch. Specializing in high end tailoring for professional men and women. We also offer mobile fittings for busy individuals who require concierge service.
You can call or text to make an appointment for an accurate fitting and quick turn around. If you are in a rush, we can accommodate you for an extra fee. You will get a courtesy text when clothes are ready to pick up. We encourage one last try on, to ensure that you are happy with the fit.
As an extra service, we also offer mobile fitting and delivery. Personal fittings done at your convenience in your home or office. The garments are taken to the shop to be professionally altered. Within days, they are delivered to you so you can try them on one more time to ensure you are satisfied.
We also do late night deliveries to cater to busy individuals. Our team of seamstresses & tailors work with high end clothes, suits, jeans, swimwear, knitwear, dresses and wedding gowns. We have many specialized skills and years of experience.
About the Owner
After graduating from the London College of Fashion, Carolyn Finlayson had her own line of womenswear that was manufactured and distributed throughout Europe and America. In 1995, she moved to South Beach and opened Glitzy Tartz of London. Carolyn enjoyed designing and importing clothing from London, but in 2001 she closed the shop. Later, she worked as the cutter/draper at the Florida Grand Opera. Recently, Carolyn enjoys a variety of work on photo shoots, movies and commercials. She’s worked with many celebrities, singers and sports stars, has kept busy with her own alteration business and now has a tailoring shop in Miami’s Upper East side. She enjoys having customers come to her shop for a personal fitting and extra attention. Her business success is because she offers unbeatable customer service and reasonable prices for quality work.
